It’s finally here — the Red Bull Imagination 4.0 main event, and this year it’s bigger and badder than ever. With a new team format and the biggest, gnarliest freeride motocross course ever assembled by Jason Baker and his expert team at Dream Traxx, the stage is set for a freeride MX competition unlike any other. Watch Tyler Bereman, Julien Vanstippen, Patrick Evans, Josh Hill, Vicki Golden and more of freeride’s best square off in two teams captained by motocross legends Robbie Maddison (“Maddo”) and Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg. Rather than competing in unstructured runs on the Red Bull Imagination 4.0 course, this year’s event is broken up into five categories that embody what it means to be a freerider — Most Creative Line, Speed and Style, Big Dawgs (Big Air), Best Whip and Team Jam, where the full team of riders works together to string together the most entertaining, choreographed line possible on the full course. The result is a day full of massive whips, huge dirt bike jumps approaching 200 feet (61 meters), nac nacs, backflips, superman seat grabs and so, so much more. What are the hardest bikes to ride? It has to be heavy… AND tall… and on imperfect roads… ADVENTURE BIKES. I find Jocelin Snow, BMW GS Trophy challenger, to show me how. She’s shorter than me and can handle heavy bikes too tall for either of our feet to touch the ground. If anyone can show us how to be a better rider, it’s Jocelin.

My name is Andrei Bodrov, originally I’m from Moscow, Russia, and now I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Back in Moscow I was a motorcycle instructor and creator of Moto Control Beginner & Advanced motorcycle rider courses, which quickly became the most popular courses in Moscow (well, at least the advanced one😁). My advanced training course makes emphasis on slow speed riding techniques at first (such as good clutch and throttle control, proper riding posture, proper use of vision, etc.), then proceeds to more advanced techniques (such as aggressive braking, trail braking, maximal lean angle). The course incorporates a lot of exercises from DOSAF slow speed riding (similar to police rodeo like motorcycle training in USA), braking and cornering exercises and motogymkhana style riding. And now, since I actively learn English – I decided to post some useful videos for both your and mine practice!😉
